Post Graduate Studies

After I graduate from my studies, I would like to study two technical careers in the Escola Superior de Tècniques de les Arts de l’Espectacle,  wich is part of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (Fundació Politècnica).

This institute is in Barcelona, Spain. 

I would like to study luminotechnique and theatrical machinery, which is the professionalization of scenic technical work that does not exist in Chile as a serious career, and can only be learnt by working in the area.

I like luminotechnique because illumination also because it was my favourite class at university,and  it’s an area in which I have dedicated my entire career and what I have worked on the most. 

Theatrical machinery is about the mechanisms used in theater to create  the theatrical magic shown on each show. 

In order to study in Spain I must apply for a Fondart of formation funds and be able to get a scholarship to study abroad. I am very anxious about this situation because there are many people who also applyes, and also because the application system is very unfair, since they do not give the scholarship for all the years of study, every year you must repostulate. 

I hope to get to study in Spain and learn to teach here again in Chile, where these learnings are much more unattainable because of the lack of interest and development in this area. 

I hope this will happen in two more years.
